The founder of the company is Paul A. Scotti, B.Sc. - Podiatry (c), C.Ped (C), D.Ch. Paul’s experience and education started in 1986 when he studied massage therapy at the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in Toronto. He then continued his education studying at the Kikkawa College of Massage Therapy and Shiatsu in Toronto and at the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in Florida. He received his certification through the National Certification Board of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks.
His education continued in the field of biomechanics and orthotics and worked for a variety of orthotic labs. He is now a member of the Pedorthic Association of Canada and has earned accreditation as a Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped (C)) from the Canadian Pedorthic Certification Board. Paul then furthered his studies at The Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences (Toronto) where he completed the Chiropody program and is now a Registered Chiropodist (D.Ch) with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. Paul is the only known Registered Chiropodist or Podiatrist who is also a Certified Pedorthist (C) in all of Canada. This gives Paul a unique and unparalleled experience that he brings to the clinic. For this reason, all the custom orthotics are manufactured onsite by Paul himself. He is also a Certified Fitter for JOBST and SIGVARUS medical legwear. Paul’s latest quest is in the pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine which is expected to be granted in early 2012.
